          Ayumi Hanada is from the interior of the state of Sao Paulo, Brazilian, Latin American, woman, researcher of the body in movement. She understands all of these factors as extremely important for the construction of her dance research and the constant formation of her movement identity. Born in São Jose do Rio Pardo - interior of São Paulo/ Brazil - where she would make be her first dance school. In 2011 she moved to Campinas to study dance at the University of Campinas - UNICAMP, where she became professional and where she made her first partnerships in the professional field of dance, coming into contact with different artists and developing various works. In 2018 she moved to São Paulo (state's capital) - where she lives currently - with the purpose of cultivate new partnerships, develop different projects and seek other ways of moving and thinking about dance.

        

          Currently, she has as one of her main lines the development of her work "Fluxo em redes" (Net-on-flow) project - continuous research of her own, but not developed in a solo way - this research it's about the search for encounters and creation of affections based on dance, aiming at the creation of a network - in person and virtual - that expands with each action of the project. For this purpose, several tools are used, such as new technologies, improvisation in dance as a creative tool and as a strategy to be on the scene, and the development of strategies in partnership with music and lighting to compose a scenic action. This project concentrates all the fronts developed by Ayumi Hanada - dancer-researcher, Dance teacher (through proposals for artistic residencies and workshops) and cultural producer (acting as producer of her own work, understanding these roles increasingly intertwined for the development of a personal research).

          In parallel to this, she works as an performer-creator-researcher at the research group Mercearia de ideias, under the direction of Luiz Fernando Bongiovanni. Develop specific partnerships in the work of Grupo Dançaberta - a group that she was part from 2012 to 2017 - under the direction of Julia Ziviani. Previously she worked in partnership with the group EmQueda for 4 years, with the group Imaginar-te  for 3 years and with several other artists and projects in a timely manner.

          Her work as a Dance teacher is currently focused on the PIA (Art Initiation Program) of the city hall of São Paulo, working in cultural centers with children and adolescents. Besides the development of workshops and artistic residencies through the Fluxo em redes (net-on-Flow project) in different cities and contexts. Previously, she worked on the group Imaginar-te carrying out workshops for children and the artistic residency for youngsters and as a hiphop teacher at the Arnea Institute in the Jovem de responsa project sponsored by AMBEV.

         As a producer, she currently works in the Fluxo em redes (Net-on-Flow) project (of her own authorship), in the Sexo Fragil show by the musician Gustavo de Angelis and in the Coletivo Barbante, a music collective. Previously worked at the Dominio Público company as production assistant ; at the group Dançaberta as project coordinator; at the group Imaginar-te and at the group EmQueda as executive producer.
